THE
CASE AGAINST THE UNITED STATES TAKING THE SIDE OF ARMENIANS IN THEIR BOGUS GENOCIDE
CLAIM OF 1915 |
By SAMUEL A. WEEMS
Armenians are beating on the doors of state capitols and the United
States Congress in Washington, D.C. whining and begging for handouts and for resolutions
condemning Turkey and asking for support of their bogus genocide claim of 1915. The reason
the Armenians have created their fake genocide industry” is to try to talk the Christian
world out of billions of dollars of foreign aid and to talk Turkey out of land and money,
as well. There are several basic reasons to prove that the Armenians are not truth tellers
because there was no Armenian genocide of 1915, as they want Christians of the world to
believe.
- Turkey didn’t become a nation until 1923 — more than 8 full years AFTER the
Armenians claimed a massacre by the government of the Ottoman Empire.
- After World War I, Armenia made two attempts to claim a massacre during the Paris Peace
Conference. The Armenians, through their paid agents in Europe, wanted land and damages
from the Ottoman government. The Peace Conference heard the Armenian false claim twice and
gave them nothing (-0-).
The Armenians have twice had their day in court yet they continue to murmur, mooch and
whine, telling the same old worn out tall tale in an attempt to get something for nothing.
Armenians couldn’t get anything from the Paris Peace Conference regarding their bogus
massacre claim against the Ottoman government, so now 85 years later, they changed their
story and want something for nothing from the Turks.
- Whatever did or didn’t take place in 1915 did not involve the Turkish government
because it wasn’t even in existence at the time.
In recent years, Armenians have spent many millions of dollars buying American politicians
(more than $14 million in campaign contributions over the past few years). This is a well
planned Armenian campaign to get more and more foreign aid and to get state legislators to
pass meaningless resolutions attacking modern day Turkey and to accuse this great American
friend of a genocide which is absolutely a false allegation.
|
The truth is that for 70 long years the Armenians
worked and did everything they could do to help the Soviet Union overthrow freedom
throughout the world. The Armenians joined the Soviet Union freely and never
attempted to prevent a Soviet takeover of their state. Armenia continues to this
very day to be blood brothers with the Russians. Many Armenians even joined Hitler’s
Nazis in an attempt to ethnically/racially cleanse Europe from Jews. Armenians also
learned from their Nazi experience of ethnic cleansing, as they have now removed all
but 5% of minorities from their small state.
There is a very good reason why the United States of America must refuse to get
involved with the Armenian false “genocide industry”. Consider the following
facts regarding American foreign policy and determine if the United States has any
business at all in inserting itself into Turkish/Armenian affairs.
The United States waged the Philippine War (1899-1902). This war did much to show
the people of the United States that the country should not attempt to obtain a
colonial empire as many nations in Europe were doing at the time.
The Spanish American War took place in 1898. The basic public stated reason for this
war was to free Cuba from Spain. Of course American special interests would remain
in Cuba after the US won the war. When the Treaty of Paris was signed to end this
war, U.S. President William McKinley had to make a decision about what to do with
the Philippine Islands as they had just been taken from Spain along with Cuba.
McKinley thought about this question for several days. He later wrote:

|
Pres.
McKinley |
"I went down on my knees and
prayed to Almighty God for light and guidance. Then one night late it came to me
that there was nothing left for us to do but to take them all, and educate the
Filipinos and uplift them and civilize and Christianize them and by God’s grace do
the best we could do by them, as our fellowmen for whom Christ died.” Perhaps
the President didn’t realize that Spain, like the United States, was a Christian
nation.
Unsaid was the fact the United States had an important national strategic interest
in these islands. That American interest was to expand its network of navy coal
stations for its growing Pacific Ocean fleet. Needless to say, many Filipinos did
not want to be under the control and direction of the United States. And so it was
that the three-year Philippine War began and American soldiers were killed and
wounded expanding the work of the US Navy and taking the word of Christ to these
islands.

AMERICAN NEWSPAPER COVERAGE
 |
Frederick
Remington |
Frederick Remington (1861 - 1909) was a
newspaper artist who spiced up sensational stories for Randolph Hearst's New
York Journal.
When Hearst ran the story about American women being strip searched, Remington
dutifully sketched a provocative picture of a naked women being systematically
searched by three male Spaniards. Neither the story nor the illustration were based on
fact, but went far to incite American outrage against Spain... allowing for the United
States to more easily challenge Spain on the battlefield, in two separate wars.
Yet when The
New York
Times among many other "creative"
news journals in the United States published made
up tales of Armenian
massacres supplied by the American arm of Britain's propaganda house (created exclusively
by demented missionaries, as Arnold Toynbee would later reveal), for the purpose of
inciting America to enter WWI on the side of the Allies, how could anyone expect these
tall tales to be taken as historic fact in this day and age? I wonder.... hmmmm.... I
wonder...

This was not a popular war within the United States. An
anti-imperialist league was organized. Many prominent Americans joined it, such as author
Mark Twain, labor leader Samuel Gompers, and industrialist Andrew Carnegie as did
countless other American citizens who opposed this imperialistic war.

A book on the
Philippine War |
The United States sent as many soldiers as possible to the
Philippines. Even after the soldiers won the slow moving war there was continued
resistance to them by guerrillas. General Arthur MacArthur (father of Douglas MacArthur of
World War II fame) was the commander of the American military presence in the islands. The
General declared martial law and invoked General Orders 100, which had been first used by
President Abraham Lincoln in the American Civil War in 1863.
This US military code of conduct on warfare permitted harsh measures during unconventional
campaigns such as when General William Tecumseh Sherman made his famous Civil War “march
to the sea.” It was the American civilians who paid a terrible price for this military
action. The same was true for the Filipinos. The American war policy in the Civil War as
well as in the Philippine War was as follows:
An occupying army had a duty to be humane in its dealings with civilians; to do otherwise
would be stupid as well as immoral, for it would turn potential friends into foes. But
likewise civilians had a duty not to resist; if they violated this duty, they would be
dealt with harshly. {General Order 100} envisioned that combatants not in uniform would be
treated like “highway robbers or pirates” and, along with civilians who aided them,
they could be subjected to the death penalty.

Mark
Twain |
US troops engaged in a number of atrocities and this
created a scandal in the U.S. Mark Twain made the suggestion that the U.S. Congress should
redesign the nation’s flag, “the white stripes painted black and the stars replaced by
the skull and crossbones.”
It is also interesting to note that of the 30 American generals who fought the Filipinos
from 1898 to 1902 — 26 of them obtained their combat experience in the American Indian
Wars. These 26 generals engaged Native Americans in armed conflicts that took all their
lands and placed the Indians on U.S. controlled reservations.
The Philippine War
"Villages were
destroyed, civilians murdered, prisoners tortured and mutilated along with a host of
other atrocities. Many American officers and non-coms had served in the Indian Wars,
and thus applied the old belief that 'the only good Indian was a dead Indian' to their
relations with the Filipinos. This attitude, of course, was reciprocated by the native
forces."
CASUALTY FIGURES:
U.S.-- 4,234 dead and 2,818 wounded.
Philippines-- 20,000 military dead and 200,000-500,000+ civilian dead.
"...Caloocan was supposed to contain
seventeen thousand inhabitants. The Twentieth Kansas swept through it, and now
Caloocan contains not one living native....War is worse than hell."-- Soldier's Letter, Captain Elliott, of the Kansas Regiment, February
27th

Holdwater: The Philippine
War was officially proclaimed "over" by President Theodore Roosevelt in
1902, but actually continued on several islands for years. Only some ten years apart
from the Armenian "Genocide," and the United States appears to have acted
distinctly more genocidally (with the "the only good Filipino is a dead
Filipino" mentality) than the Ottoman Turks (where massacres by government forces
as policy have yet to be proven), and was responsible for perhaps more civilian
deaths and atrocities (some historians estimate over half a million) than the Armenian
casualties of 300,000 to 600,000 from all causes combined — including the
famine and disease that did not discriminate among all Ottoman civilians. Yet the United States
Congress has the audacity to bring up Armenian "Genocide" resolutions, year
after year. How do you like that?
I wonder why the U.S. Congress
does not come up with an Algerian Resolution, honoring the couple of hundred thousand
Algerian civilians who were done in by the French... and I wonder why the French
Parliament does not similarly come up with a Filipino Resolution, honoring the perhaps
over five hundred thousand Filipino civilians who were done in by the Americans? I
wonder why both keep harping on the Armenian "Geno$ide"?
|
Contrast this American military series of actions
to the Armenian bogus genocide claim:
The Armenians were citizens of the Ottoman Empire for more than 700 years and lived
in peace with their neighbors. The Muslim Ottoman government permitted the Armenian
Christians total freedom of religion during this long period of peace. Then came the
Russians! Beginning in the early 1800s the Russians began a one hundred-year effort
to take Ottoman lands by armed force. Each time the Russians started a war with the
Ottoman Empire, the Armenian small minority population supported them based on the
false Russian promise that Russians would give them free Muslim lands.
In 1915 the Russians again attacked the Ottoman Empire in its quest to obtain warm
water ports. Once again the Armenians supported the Russians. In this Russian
invasion they marched as far as today’s eastern modern day Turkey. The Russians
were a real threat to capture the heart of the Ottoman Empire.
During this war Armenians, living behind the Ottoman army combat zone, engaged in
nightly guerrilla attacks that disrupted the Ottoman army supply lines creating
great disruption and damage to the Ottoman army. The Ottoman government made a
direct appeal to the high priest of the Armenian Church asking for his help to stop
the Armenian attacks on their supply lines. The high priest refused.
The reason the Armenian Church refused to help the Ottoman government was because
it, too, supported the advancing Russians. The Ottoman government advised the high
priest that they would be forced to remove all Armenians living behind their army if
the attacks continued. The attacks in fact increased and the Ottoman government
announced that it would move all Armenians from behind their army. The Armenian
Church’s reaction, even before the actual removal began, was to ignore its role in
causing the removal and the high priest responded by making up and telling the tall
tale that the Ottomans were massacring large numbers of Armenians.
The truth was, of course, that the Ottomans had not even started the removal process
and not a single Armenian had so much as packed a bag to leave when the Armenian
Church’s great “massacre” tall tale campaign began. The historical truth is
that it was the Armenian Church who must accept responsibility for much of the
terrible things that happened to the Armenian people in eastern Turkey. The Armenian
Church could have helped stop the acts of treason but refused to do so.

A
"GENOCIDE"?
 |
General
Weyler |
In January 1896,
Spanish General Valeriano Weyler y Nicolau (1838 - 1930) became Governor in Cuba. In
order to end rebellion, he initiated a program that became known as
"reconcentrado"... resulting in the relocation of 1.6 million Cubans and,
with lack of provisions, reportedly the death of hundreds of thousands. (The tragedy
resulted in American outcries for Spain to remove Weyler, which Spain did in 1897.)
Over double the
number of relocated Armenians with a similar number of deaths that may have resulted
as a direct consequence of the relocation (whereas the number of dead Armenians
resulted from all wartime causes combined, that did not discriminate among all
Ottomans)...and yet... has anyone even HEARD of this historical episode? How come
French and American politicians go crazy over the Armenian "Genocide," and
they don't care about coming up with a "resolution" over, say, this other
"genocide"? I wonder.... hmmmmm... I wonder...
|
The Ottomans did, in fact, later remove some one
million Armenians from behind their military line, and of course, the guerrilla
attacks stopped. The proof is that there were more than one million Armenian
refugees yet Armenians today murmur and whimper that the horrible Muslim Turks
massacred 1.5 million of their Christian forefathers in 1915. This is as massive of
a tall tale as that told by the Armenian high priest’s claim of massacre.
The basic question is how could the Turks have murdered a half million more
Armenians than who actually lived in eastern Turkey at the time? How can a million
Armenians have been refugees and also been murdered at the same time? The Armenian
tall tale of 1.5 million of their people being massacred is absurd and the
historical evidence proves that the Armenians are not truth tellers! Historical
evidence proves that it was the Armenian Christians who massacred far more Muslims
in their selfish greed of wanting something for nothing than there were Armenians
killed. Perhaps the Armenians have invented their very own system of “new math”
that only they use and understand to fleece and deceive the Christian world!
What would have been the United States government’s response had it been subjected
to such treason? Based upon the U.S. Army actions in the Civil War, the Indian Wars,
and the War of the Philippines — the US government would have acted much like the
Ottoman government. The Armenian guerrillas, who didn’t fight in Russian uniforms,
as well as the Armenian citizens who supported and helped them, would have been
treated as “highway robbers or pirates” just as Native Americans and Filipinos
were treated. This is how the American army treated Native Americans and Filipinos
— not to mention its treatment of Japanese Americans starting in 1942 during the 5
years of World War II.
Clearly today, neither a single United States state nor the United States Congress
has any business or any right to pass meaningless resolutions attacking American’s
friend and partner, Turkey. To back and support the bogus Armenian “genocide
industry” is to approve of Armenian treason in 1915 as well as approving its acts
of terrorism today on its neighbor Azerbaijan.
Consider this fact situation: Mexico attacks the United States and makes steady
progress toward Washington, D.C. Native Americans support Mexico and wage hit and
run attacks behind the American troops and disrupt United States military supply
lines. Does any American really think that the US government would stand back and
permit Native Americans to run wild and create problems for the army? Certainly not!
Would any American stand back and permit some European country to claim we had
committed a genocide when we removed Native Americans from behind our army when they
were doing major harm to our soldiers’ defense of the United States of America.
Certainly not!
Neither the United States government nor any individual state within the United
States has any business sticking its nose into a sovereign nation’s effort to
defend its lands. How can any U.S. state or the national government make a judgment
call about a disputed action that took place more than 6,000 miles away more than 85
years ago? There is no real American interest to back and support Armenian treason
and terrorism. To take sides unfairly, as some 26 U.S. states have done, is to give
the Muslim world a good reason to hate Americans.
The sad fact of the matter is the politicians of the United States are taking the
word of a gang of Armenian thugs just because they “claim” to be fellow
Christians who were unjustly attacked by terrible Muslims. The Armenians are not
truth tellers and Americans should learn truth for themselves before giving this
unholy people billions of their dollars.

Armenia is a land-locked tiny state and can’t get along
with its neighbors — never has! Armenians can’t even get along with its Christian
neighbor Georgia. The United States has no national interest in supporting an ongoing “Christian”
terrorist state. It is past time to stop wasting American Christian taxpayer dollars on a
gaggle of ingrate Armenians. After September 11th it is past time for the United States to
establish true friendships with Armenia’s Muslim neighbors, such as Azerbaijan. The
United States must build friendships throughout the Muslim world and this will not be
possible while American politicians are being bought and paid for by Armenian lobbyists.
What were the legislators or governors of the following states thinking when they voted
for meaningless resolutions or when a governor issued a meaningless Proclamation
condemning Turkey and supporting Armenia betrayal, deceit, treason and terrorism against
the Muslim world? There is the dark stain of innocent Muslim blood upon the following
state flags because of what state leaders have done unjustly and unfairly in the name of
Christ.
The roll of dishonored states are: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado,
Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan,
Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma,
Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin.
Based upon all the evidence, the question must be fairly asked of each of these states —
What right does your state have for passing a Resolution or issuing a Proclamation
condemning Turkey for something that didn’t happen more than 85 years ago and 6,000
miles away from the United States? What state interest is there in involving any one of
these Sates in an international question? NONE! It is sad to see each of these individual
states inserting itself into a Christian/Muslim matter and choosing the corrupt “Christian”
state side rather than truth and honesty. To do such a thing is un-American!
How much money did the Armenian lobbyists spend in each of these states to get such
worthless-meaningless Resolutions and Proclamations issued? Other than Armenian lobbyist’s
self- interest what reason does a single American have in meddling in affairs of other
countries? NONE! It is horrible actions such as these Resolutions and Proclamations that
cause people in the rest of the world to think of “The Ugly American.” It is past time
for Americans to seek out truth and refuse to help terrorists just because the terrorists
know how to lie and to call themselves fellow Christians. It just doesn’t make sense to
allow religion to unfairly rule United States foreign policy as it does in too many cases
like this one today.
